Job Description

For a demanding cloud and infrastructure project, we are looking for an experienced Azure DevOps / Terraform / AKS Developer (m/f/d) on a freelance basis. The position is 100% remote within Germany.

You will work on the further development of a modern Azure platform, automate infrastructure with Terraform, and manage containerized deployments on AKS. We are looking for a freelancer who is quickly productive, works with clean documentation, and can independently drive DevOps processes forward.

Your Tasks

• Building, developing, and optimizing infrastructures in Microsoft Azure
• Automating and managing resources with Terraform
• Operating, configuring, and optimizing Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Creating, maintaining, and improving CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
• Supporting deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting in production environments
• Collaborating with development, architecture, and operations teams
• Documenting infrastructure, processes, and technical decisions

Your Profile

• Several years of hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Terraform, and AKS
• Excellent knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and modern deployment processes
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automated release processes
• Confident handling of Azure Cloud Services
• Independent, structured, and reliable work approach
• Experience working as a freelancer
• Residence or availability in Germany
• Good German and English language skills
